The Enclave is a 100-unit condominium community inside Grasslands Golf & Country Club, and it is the first village you reach after the main gate — the first left off Grasslands Boulevard. Two-story condo buildings sit along the 1st and 2nd holes of the golf course, many of them ringing a pond with a lighted waterfall. The Enclave has its own coded entry gate on top of Grasslands' 24-hour guard service, and the clubhouse and practice facility are a short walk away.
Built between 1993 and 1998, Enclave condos range from a 2-bedroom, 2-bath home of 1,232 square feet to 3-bedroom plans up to 1,628 square feet. Most homes fall between about 1,220 and 1,565 square feet. Every unit includes a downstairs storage unit and covered carport parking, and some end units offer a private elevator and a glass-enclosed balcony. Golf-course and pond views are the norm here rather than the exception, and the setting is made for sunset views over the water.
The Enclave is run by its own condominium association, separate from the other Grasslands villages. Recent listings show the condo fee at about $440 to $460 per month, covering building and exterior maintenance and insurance, the roof, grounds, water, sewer, trash, cable TV, internet, and pest control. Club membership is separate from the HOA. See Grasslands membership costs on the main Grasslands page.
This is true lock-and-leave living. Owners come and go for the season without a second thought about lawns, roofs, or exterior upkeep, because the association handles all of it. Mornings here start with golfers on the first tee and herons on the pond; evenings end with the waterfall lit up across the water. Because the Enclave sits right inside the front of Grasslands, residents get the quiet of a dead-end private road — Enclave Drive and Enclave Place — with the clubhouse, dining, pool, and tennis all close enough to reach by golf cart.
The Enclave is inside Grasslands in South Lakeland, off Harden Boulevard and just inside the main gate. Lakeside Village shopping and dining is a few minutes away, downtown Lakeland and Lakeland Linder International Airport are each about 15 minutes, and the Polk Parkway connects you to I-4 and Tampa. Homes are zoned for Polk County public schools serving South Lakeland; ask Elizabeth to confirm zoning for a specific unit.
